The goal of the Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) Maintenance Compliance Framework is to help Councils implement and operate a WSUD maintenance compliance program through the provision of a range of information and resources.
This section of the website will look to provide information about the basics of a WSUD maintenance compliance program, and how to implement and operate such a program. Noting that the information provided here has been developed and prepared in a way that tries to accommodate for all Councils.
This accommodation means that it is possible that the order of information or contents of information might not be applicable to all Councils. Please review and use this information in a way relevant and applicable to your organisation. If you have any suggestions or feedback on how it could be made more relevant or applicable to you, please get in contact.
The purpose of a WSUD maintenance compliance program is to help improve management of private and public WSUD assets. It will allow Councils to enforce maintenance requirements on the private assets, while improve stormwater management practices for public assets.
