This was the thirteenth meeting of the National WSUD Compliance Network.
In this meeting, David Nixon presented an update of the NSW SQID Taskforce in his capacity as Chair of the NSW SQID Taskforce, Chair of Stormwater 2030, and Managing Director of Stormwater Services Australia. Over an 18-month period, the NSW SQID Taskforce conducted an intensive “deep dive” into the systemic barriers preventing the national adoption of the SQIDEP Program. David provided an overview of the outcomes and the roadmap for scaling the program nationally through the establishment of the National Stormwater Improvement Committee.
Additionally, Framework Project Lead Daniel Rider provided a brief update on his progress with the WSUD Maintenance Compliance Framework, including recent engagement by a council to help them improve private WSUD maintenance compliance.
